Well Terry sounds like the Jimmy is gonna be a lot of fun. Like I was saying Doug and myself are learning about the 14 Bolt. Seems like a good axle. BIG MOTHER!!!

Got some new five point belts for it. I aked a Chevy guy to look at it and the axles are 10 bolt front & 12 bolt rear. I guess standard for that year. Oh well, just means I won't cry when I break them..lol It rides like a log wagon, way too ruff. I may take some leafs out of the spring packs.

Well the Jimmy has been put to rest! Too much needed to be done to it to make it safe. The drive train is in the garage & the remainder went to the scrap yard. Money for the Jeep!!!

Terry, I posted some pics of our Nightmare gulch run on a Chevy Forum and 1 of the guys saw your Bronco and made a suggestion..........
.. let him know for a cheap upgrade i put stock f250 front springs in and it raised it 2.5 inches or so sits just alittle higher in the front than the back now. It gets rid of the common saggy front look. autozone carries them 80 bucks i think used same shocks and everything. It works really good a bit stiff but flexs well just get it aligned afterwards.
That is my set up on 33 maxxis big horns.
I also removed front swaybar need to do the same in the rear.....
just passing it along. he gets roasted on the chevy board because he wheels a Ford, but is building a suburban on 42's

Tom,
Hey, that's a good idea! I would help with the approch angle for sure. I looked at the picture of the Bronco at TDS last year, if anyone is going this year, maybe you could pick up my front plate and being it back for me...lol I forgot what it looked like...
