Well guys, I finally caved in!! I now have a Jeep, it's a 1979 CJ-7. It needs lots of work so I will be calling some of you for advice! Humm, if I put in a Ford motor, trans & axels could I call it a Ford Jeep?

Well I got it home today!! It needs more work than I thought, I'm not bummed though. Just means I have more work to do. Put on new marker lights, taillight lens, turn signal lights & mirrors along with a bikini top. Looks better so far!! Thanks Tommy for your help today. I have already started a parts list and it keeps growing everytime I look at it.

Thanks, my first concern is to get it registered. Then collect all the parts I need to make it nice. I will use it on the trails like it is, ulgy and needing attention. And if anyone is cleaning out the garage of old CJ parts, keep me in mind, I need them!!

Is everything currently working on it, what engine does it have under the hood? We need a picture before you start doing any upgrades so we can have before and after pictures.
