HD4W,

Finally, after two years of closure, the Forest Service needs OUR help to open OUR club Adopt-A-Trail, Rohwer Trail on Sunday, 25 Oct.

We need to meet the Forest Service no later than 0900 on SUNDAY, 25 OCT at the front entrance to Rowher Campground off of Sierra Hwy and Rush Canyon Rd. We will run the entire length of Rowher Trail plus do any required trail maintenance to ensure the trail is ready to open in November.

Everyone, please try and attend this special event. The Forest Service is counting on us, HD4W, to help get this trail open. We need a good showing for this one.

When: SUNDAY, 25 October
Where: Rowher Campground (Sierra Hwy and Rush Canyon Rd) Take Sierra Hwy Exit 22 from the 14 Freeway.
Why: To open Rowher Trail, the HD4W club Adopt-A-Trail
What to bring: Work gloves, hat, water, and any yard tools you can (shovels, pruning shears). We will probably be doing some minor to moderate trail maintenance. All the heavy stuff is supposedly already taken care of.

sounds good Jim. I talked w/ Terry and he didn't see why not. He said we'll need to get them to sign waivers just like any other run.
