Hello to all the members.....
So it seems Saturday at 9am we will be meeting at the trail head gate off of Sierra Highway for a picture opportunity with the forest service or BLM or whoever governs that part of the jungle.
The reason for my post is just to remind everyone to show up so that we prove we are a worthy off road group that prides ourselves on adopting a trail, especially when we may be adding another one in the same Texas Canyon area. Let's go out there and show a jeep line up that they will remember and will need to pull out the wide angle lens to photograph..... then let's get out there and enjoy the fruits of our labor (YOUR labor, I had to work and couldn't make the clean up ) Even if your rig isn't operable or you now have a buggy or something weird like that, show up anyway for the pic and jump in someones rig for the trail, especially the one we need to inspect if we will take on the adoption process.
I will be there ready and willing and hope to see all of you I already know along with those I may not have met yet... let's make a good showing..... nope, let's make a GREAT showing!!! Make it happen!!!

All,
I am trying to get in contact with Terry Hollinger from the USFS. It seems that the opening is going to be on SUNDAY, Nov 8th. I guess Saturday is a furlough day. This was reported on MJR. I am trying to confirm.

JP, I like your attitude and confidence but with our club I always look at the glass half empty. O'well we can sure hope. It sounds like MJR will be there in force.

Yo Yo I WILL BE THERE FOR SURE ON SATURDAY, 8:45am and I would like to be there on Sunday as well. What time on Sunday? Bouquet side meaning the entrance that's next to the reservoir off of Bouquet Canyon... that steep climb? Oh yeah baby... I like it!
