Okay the best way to add pictures to your postings is by using what is known as hyper-linking the image. Linking the image is really easy when using free online photo sites like Photobucket.com which allows you to easily upload or (copy) up to a Gigabyte of photos to their site and provides easy copy and paste photo linking for all your Forum Posts. Attachments to a post are possible but will cause the forum size to grow and slow down performance.
Please be aware when posting any pictures. Do not post any pictures which could be used by environmental groups to help close our trails. This means any pictures which do not promote a "Tread Lightly" attitude should not be posted on this forum. Any pictures showing a vehicle off the designated trail, same goes for drinking. The Admins and Moderators reserve the right to delete any pictures without warning. This is an unfortunate situation but we need to work on keeping our trails open and respecting the environment.
How to Post Pictures;
Should you need assistance linking or re-sizing photos, please email or PM myself, Mark or Denise
Posting pictures on the forum requires hyper linking, using free sites like
www.photobucket.com you can upload all your pics that you want to share to photobucket, or any other online photo service that allows hyper linking of pictures.
1) on photobucket, click on IMG Code & copy img link info
2) paste the address you just copied into Message box
3) choose preview to see how it will look
4) if the preview looks okay click submit
5) you are finished
Problems;
If you're getting red x's and can't get your pic to show, and have followed the above procedure, and are not using photobucket try using photobucket. Some photo-hosting websites don't allow hyper linking to photos.
Need more help adding pictures to your post:
Remember, posting a picture from your hard drive or an outside source, such as a digital camera or scanner you must first upload to an online website photo service. The smaller the size of your pictures, the quicker they will upload, but use caution, too small and your pictures will lack quality. 400x300 is the smallest size which loads fast but will still retain enough quality. Please do not post larger than 800x600 as it will impact performance of the Webpage, Have Fun.
Thanks
Mark
