OK here is it's bio:
1979 CJ-7 (I think it was a Levi Edition by the interior)
1979 Chevy 305 v-8, 4 bbl carb & th350 auto
Quadatrac with narrow track axles with worn out 33 x 12.50/15 (I have new 35 x 12.50/15 tires for it)
no top, no doors, no winch, body has rust and needs a new windshield frame due to rust. Need a new interior but I can drive it the way it is.
It does run & drive although it's kinda of scary with the wander. I think it's missing a track bar, not sure. I need to replace the front spirngs & bushings to tighten things up.

Sounds like a fun vehicle, Jim Taylor has CJ parts listed in the classified section and I think he had doors and bikini top listed too.
Ebay may be the cheapest place to find the windshield frame or you can go down to Scotty's Jeep Salvage in Fontana but he's a little pricy, I am also shopping for a windshield frame to fix OL Red. I have some diamond plate you can have free which covers up rust really quick. Just clean and prep the metal to stop the rust or use some POR15 rust inhibitor then slap on the diamond plate using a pop rivet gun which I can loan you too. This is a good solution for rocker panels, rear corners, or any flat surface areas.

Well, latest update. This project is moving slow, I got a "Y" headpipe for the exhaust. Found a blown brake line, cleaned the motor, undercarriage. Removed the homemade windshield frame holder, removed the spare tire holder, removed the homemade winch mount & fairhead mount. Removed the rear seat to make room for the spare tire. Installed new light lens. I have it up on jack stands at the ride hight it will be when done. I will have some pics at the meeting on Monday if anyone would like to see.

Well, to update on my project. I removed the body from the frame over the weekend. Will start cleaning up the frame and painting it. Lots of work ahead of me.
