Inland Empire 4 Wheelers Annual Big Bear Forest Fest June 19th - 21th 2009. IE4W leads several runs through out the San Bernardino Mountains. Runs are open to all makes and models of 4x4's with trails ranging in difficulty from easy to challenging. In past years the club has served over 600 tasty homemade BBQ Tri-tip dinners with dessert and hosted a raffle with over $25,000 in prizes. This year promises to be even better. The kids are also treated to their own games and give-aways. Free dry camping in the Snow Valley Parking area is included with admission. www.ie4w.com

Hey guys, you missed me, I'll be there as well, I spoke to the organizer on Friday and he got me in on runs as well, I was hoping to get on Friday nights run but wasn't sure if he was able to squeak me in, Saturday I'll be on Onyx Summit and on Sunday I'll be on John Bull Trail, He wasn't able to get me in on Dishpan Springs, but I'll chat with him again to see if he can get me in based on the rest of the club I'd like to be a part of is running it. Maybe you will have more pull than me.

We don't really have any pull with this event since it is hosted by Inland Empire Club. I am hoping to swap my name to the 7:30 run to be with our Club. They do get cancellations so you might get into the Dishpan run if you email Mike Moore and ask him to put you on the cancellation waiting list for Dishpan.

BBFF 2009 was a great event and we had good group of members wheeling all weekend. Some of them wheeled day and night while others just won all the raffle prizes stuffed plenty of BBQ! After winning 3 times the gang threatened to boot me from the club so I drove home with a Hansen Front Bumper, Currie Anti-Rock, 15X8 Eagle Alloys, KC Daylighter DIY, Warn Wireless Remote, 3pc Safari Cage Net, Superior Axle Tube seals, and a few other small items most of which we will sell to get stuff really needed.
Here are a few pictures from Dishpan Springs, another great Big Bear trail.

Wow, Mark! You really cleaned up at the raffle! Are you going to keep the Hanson bumper? Is it the full width one?
Looks like you had a great time. Looks like Tommy was with you on the run.
My rig is still broke. It's at Darrel's right now getting an ARB and new ring and pinion put in plus he is re-doing my rear lower control arm mounts and shock mounts on the rear axle.

Larry, you got a lot of good pictures, did the Red JK 4 door get damage on that boulder, in the picture it looks like he is right on it? How did your new armor work on the trail? John, the Hansen Bumper is a 60" with winch guard hoop. We ran Dishpan#2 with Tommy and Jesse, we also had the Genright owner Tony with us. We had a Suzuki flop over on it's side and 10 seconds later 5 guys flipped it back on it's wheels again and off it went. Just finished installing the Superior Axle Tube Seals and traded my 2nd set to Doug for a diff guard. I think JP is ready to buy a TJ so he can do more wheeling and less wrenching.
